Traits

When breeding animals, the goal should be to select animals with the best traits and to pass down their traits to the children.

Every animal has the following traits:

  • Eye Color

= The eye color can not only be a single color but also a arrangement of different colors

  • Eye Structure

= The overall shape of the eye will not change, since the eyes are one the keys to differentiate all the species in the game. However other attributes of the eye can differ such as the pupil size and/or eyebrows etc.

  • Tail

= The tail shape will only slightly adjusted, similar to the eye structure since the tail shapes is another key to differentiate all the species in the game. A tail can have different properties influencing the overall size, fluffyness and/or additional features (e.g. TripleTail)

  • Personailty

= the personality will not change the appearance of the illustration. The personality majorly impacts the outcome of an expeditions and other mechanics

  • Primary Color

= Body color of an animal

  • Secondary Color

= Contrast color used for the special features of the animal and the pattern

  • Pattern

= a pattern applied above the main body color. An animal can also have no pattern at all

  • Primal Percentage (only Chimeras)

= A Chimera can not only carry 50% of each PrimalGenes. For example a LionBear could be 99% Lion and only 1% Bear. The appearance will not change. The Primal Percentage heavily impacts the outcome of the breeding and GenExtractor
