Breeding

When breeding two Chimeras, the underlying PrimalGenes will be used to determine which animals can be obtained from the breeding. Let's say a player has the Chimera LionBear AB, in which the A represents the LionGene and B the BearGene. He can breed it with the Chimera CD, containing two other PrimalGenes. This will result in the following breedingtable:

Breeding different Chimeras (no primal overlap)

In this case, there are four possible outcomes. The traits of the animals, impact which of the combinations is more likely to be chosen. This way the player can steer which animal species shall be created through the breeding process.

There is also a low chance that the breeding will fail and a broken egg NFT will be yielded instead.

Breeding different Chimeras (with primal overlap)

In some cases, two chimeras with the same PrimalGene will be attempted to be bred, such as AB and AD. In this case they both share the PrimalGene A. According to the breedingtable, this could technically result in the combination AA, which would be a Primal. However, Primals can only be exclusively generated with the GenExtractor mechanic. Hence, the breeding will only have three possible outcomes in this case.

Twins and Triplets

Although breeding can fail, there is also a low chance of receiving twins or even triplets out of a single egg. The resulting children will be identical to each other:
